Photosharing and Editing is quite fun. I have usually used Shutterfly so it was fun to explore Flickr. I added photo's and put them into a batch. I also learned how to edit and rotate.

What fun it is to see new things. RSS and using bloglines to manage interesting websites is a great resource. I now have the weather channel, quotes for the day, library blogs and recipes at my fingertips!

Web 2.0 is a great idea to keep libraries up to date. I like some of the ideas that were stated in the blog of things to be done: start include blogs, gaming nights for teens, and collaborative photo sites. "The basic drive is to get people back into the library by making the library relevant to what they want and need in their daily lives…to make the library a destination and not an afterthought."

As a media specialist it is my job to understand and use the web ideas that students are using!!
